The MyoScan is a preamplifier of surface biofeedback (EMG). Surface EMG measures muscle activity by detecting and amplifying small electrical impulses generated by muscle fibers as they contract. The sensor detects a moderately complex addition of impulses from the many muscle fibers located in the recording area of the sensor contract at different times and at different rates. The number of muscle fibers recovered and the rate of contraction of each fiber during a given contraction depends on the force required to perform a movement. This makes the intensity (amplitude) of the resulting electrical signal, under certain conditions, proportional to the strength of contraction.

EMG MyoScan is a surface Electromyography sensor for use with the ProComp Infiniti / ProComp Infiniti channels A-B or all FlexComp-Infiniti channels for RAW EMG. Use together with Triode electrodes, with extension cable for wider electrode placement. Range of 0-2000 mV.
